Sometimes you may find yourself needing to add Custom CSS in your WordPress website. Well, adding CSS code is quite easy.
Adding Custom CSS Using Theme Customizer
Since WordPress 4.7, we can add custom CSS code directly from the WordPress Customizer. And the best thing is that you can see the changes in your website instantly with a live preview.
Just go to Themes > Customize.
WordPress theme customizer will be launched. In the left panel, click on Additional CSS.
You will see a box where you can add your custom CSS, and you will be able to see it applied on your website’s live preview pane.
Using a Plugin
For this method, you need to install the WP Add Custom CSS plugin. Well, there are many other plugins available, but I prefer this one. The best thing about this plugin is that it lets you add custom CSS to each individual post or page. And it has an option to unable advanced CSS editor.
This plugin allows you to enter CSS into a nice editor in your Dashboard without having to create any files.
To install it, go to Plugins > Add New in your Dashboard and search for WP Add Custom CSS. Then simply install and activate it.
Using Child Theme
Using Child Theme is another method. Read this article for full details.
You can either create your own child theme for WhiteDot or Download it from here –
